The eight papers in this special section were presented at the Sixteenth International Conference on Intelligent Computing (ICIC) that was held Bari, Italy, October 2-5, 2020. ICIC formed to provide an annual forum dedicated emerging and challenging topics artificial intelligence, machine learning, bioinformatics, computational biology, etc. It aims bring together researchers practitioners from both academia industry share ideas, problems solutions related multifaceted aspects of intelligent computing.
